Rainbow Trust
One day, every family with a child diagnosed with a life threatening illness throughout the country will have access to and the support of a Rainbow carer.
Mission
Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides family centred care for children with a life threatening or terminal illness and their families, at time of crisis. Practical and emotional support is offered from diagnosis, through treatment and following bereavement both within the family home and at our respite centres in Great Bookham, Surrey and Hexham, Northumberland.
"The Rainbow Trust was setup in 1986 and offers non-medical, practical and emotional help to families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. The trust achieves consistent and professional care to these families through teams of dedicated support workers and two respite houses."
